Our commitment
Be 100 Club aims to make website content and core actions understandable, operable, and usable across a range of devices and assistive technologies. Accessibility is treated as ongoing work, not a one-time checklist.
Measures in this website
- Semantic landmarks, logical headings, and a skip-to-content link.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, forms, disclosures, and consent controls.
- Visible focus indicators and color contrast designed for Level AA.
- Alternative text for meaningful imagery and empty text for purely decorative content.
- Responsive layouts that support zoom and reflow.
- Client-supplied photographs remain static, and optional interface transitions respect reduced-motion preferences. Photographs also remain available in print.
- Clear labels, instructions, and error messaging around forms.
- Live captions are required for book-club streams. Replay pages identify caption availability and link a transcript when one is published.
Third-party services
Optional scheduling, email confirmation, YouTube video and chat, and social links may open services not controlled by Be 100 Club. Their accessibility can vary. Wednesday 100 video pages provide a direct YouTube link as an alternative to the embedded player. If a third-party step prevents you from completing a task, use the contact process below so another reasonable path can be explored.
Feedback and assistance
If you encounter a barrier, use the general contact form. Include the page, what you were trying to do, the issue, and—if you are comfortable sharing—the browser or assistive technology involved. Please do not include medical or other sensitive records.
Assessment
The site is reviewed using automated accessibility checks, keyboard testing, responsive testing, and manual inspection of core journeys. Feedback is used to prioritize further improvements.
